The Tasmanian Sheep & Beef Benchmarking Project was jointly funded by the Tasmanian Government and Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA). The project was managed by Dale Miller from the Tasmanian Institute of Agricultural Research (TIAR) as part of the Tasmania’s Red Meat Targets Program.
Red Sky was contracted to collect data and then process this data for the project as well as produce farm business reports for all participants. Farmer workshops were also run so that participants could discuss in more depth their individual results and further interpret the reports.
