ACCOUNTANTS TO HAVE ACCESS TO A SINGLE SOFTWARE SOLUTION TO BENCHMARK ALL BUSINESSES
Red Sky Agricultural and Acclipse have formed a joint venture to provide New Zealand accountants with a single software solution to benchmark all their clients. It is anticipated that this relationship will be expanded to Australia shortly. For existing Red Sky users this will result in three key outcomes:
1. The opportunity to benchmark all their clients, including their non-agricultural clients
2. Substantially increased speed in delivery of benchmark reports, with written as well as numerical reports able to be produced in 10-15 minutes
3. Additional reports to be available that provide explanation of the key performance indicators, with these reports to be editable by users
Acclipse provide software to a large number of accountancy practices in both New Zealand and Australia. Their benchmark software is branded as BenchmarkIT in New Zealand and known as CCH (or FMRC historically) in Australia. They have the most comprehensive benchmark data for non-agricultural businesses in both countries and have no peer in the area of automating and integrating the delivery of benchmark reports.
The integration of our two products is being phased in as we speak, with stage one already included in the latest Acclipse BenchmarkIT release. For more information please click here
CONSULTANTS TO HAVE ACCESS TO WIDER VARIETY OF REPORTS
Our joint venture with Acclipse will result in a wider variety of reports being available to consultants and farmers, with these reports being editable. One key outcome will be written reports that outline the performance of the business in key areas, providing explanation as to the relevance and applicability of these ratios. In addition these reports will be editable, so users will be able to design their own reports.
MORE BENCHMARKS NOW AVAIALBLE
An increasing number of benchmarks for dairy farmers, as well as sheep and beef farmers, in both New Zealand and Australia are available. There is also some benchmark data for deer and cropping farmers, with all of these benchmarks growing in applicability as use of Red Sky continues to increase. SOUTH AFRICA LATEST MARKET TO ADOPT RED SKY
Red Sky has now commenced the processing of data for South African dairy farmers and we expect to have our first South African benchmarks available later in the year. This is an exciting new development for us. In addition to providing direct benefits to those farmers who have their farm businesses analysed through Red Sky, this will also provide an increasing sphere of directly comparative international data.
