Partners Red Sky Agricultural will build partnerships with a wide group of parties within the New Zealand and Australian agricultural sectors. This includes partnerships with industry bodies, rural accountants, agricultural consultants, dairy companies, meat companies, banks, universities, websites and other parties that are stakeholders in the rural sector.
Our software will be available to any person or entity that wishes to use it. As a result, although we will continue to look for opportunities to build partnerships with parties interested in pursuing a similar vision as our own, none of these partnerships will exclude any other party from downloading our software and using it for themselves or their clients.
Our first major partnership was with Fonterra Co-operative Group Ltd. We signed a joint venture agreement with Fonterra in June 2003 for a 5 year term. This resulted in Red Sky being promoted via Fonterra's Fencepost.com website, with visitors to the website also being able to download the software and learn about its application. Fonterra and Red Sky worked together in the New Zealand dairy market with a goal of promoting the widest possible use of Red Sky Farm Performance Analysis. This provided an opportunity for all dairy participants to benefit from a database that produced real time comparative farm analysis.
There are now a number of accountancy and consultancy firms in both Australia and New Zealand that have adopted Red Sky and are promoting the benefits of the software to their clients. New relationships are also being negotiated that should ensure further growth in use of Red Sky.
