David Beca
Director

David has 28 years experience in agriculture, the last 15 of which have been more significantly in dairy farming, though with regular input into sheep and beef farming. This experience has included farm ownership and management of properties in Australia and New Zealand. David has previously served as a Director of a New Zealand co-operative dairy company and been contracted to Nestle Australia. Over the last twelve years he has helped build Intelact Nutrition Ltd into the largest privately owned dairy consultancy business in New Zealand, which also operates in the main dairying districts of Australia and South Africa. His particular area of expertise is in financial and business analysis as well as farm systems analysis.

Carlien Zuur
Director

Carlien has more than 28 years experience in agriculture. This experience has included dairy, sheep and beef farm ownership of properties in New Zealand and Australia. Over the last ten years she has maintained all office records for a number of businesses, with four agricultural businesses presently under her care.

Richard Beca
Director

Richard is the principal of Beca & Co, a niche commercial property law firm. Richard has also undertaken a number of other property-related activities over the last five years including rural subdivisions, renovating an historic building and various property investments.

Leanne Gifford
New Zealand Manager

Leanne is a farm business analyst who is primarily involved in delivering specialist advice to farmers on opportunities to improve their level of profitability.  She has a Bachelor of Agricultural Science (Honours) from Lincoln University and has experience in agricultural education and accountancy.  In addition she has owned and operated a sheep and beef property.  Leanne has worked extensively with Red Sky over the past six years delivering reports to farmers via accountancy and consultancy businesses, and continues to do this on an ongoing basis.  Although based in New Zealand she regularly works in South Africa and has undertaken assignments in a number of other countries.

Fiona Smith
Australian Manager

Fiona is a farm business analyst who is primarily involved in delivering specialist advice to Australian farmers, with this including both one-on-one advice as well as via business discussion groups. She has a Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Agricultural Science (Honours) from the University of Melbourne. She grew up on a dairy farm in South Western Victoria. Fiona previously worked for Westpac for 5 years gaining experience in the finance sector. During that time she worked extensively with a variety of agricultural sectors and businesses with time spent in both Victoria and central NSW. 

Kerry McGlade
Data Procesing

Kerry is an experienced accountant who is our senior data processor. She has a Bachelor of Commerce and previously practiced accountancy in a rural Victorian firm. Kerry processes dairy, sheep, beef and cropping farm data from across Australia as well as from New Zealand.

Kirsty Wilkinson
Project Manager

Kirsty provides a wide variety of strategic and project management advice to clients through her company, Aptus Consulting Limited.  Recent projects have included setting up start up companies and employing staff, advising on overall strategy and drafting business plans, producing financial information including projected revenue and expenditure and monitoring expenditure over start up periods, pitching to venture capital companies, producing marketing plans, project plans and timetables for development, managing the development of branding and image, and managing the development of web sites.

Scott Beca
Software Developer & IT Support

Scott is a software developer who is presently completing upgrades to the Red Sky software, including an upgarde to VB.NET. He also provides IT support to Red Sky clients and the entire Red Sky team.

Rob Gibberd
Software Developer

Rob is a software development consultant and has twelve years experience in this field. Projects undertaken recently include the Land Information Survey Project in Wellington and work for the Lotteries Commission. He has an engineering degree and grew up on sheep and dairy farms, giving him a practical background to farming software development.
