Red Sky undertakes a number of seminars and training courses to assist those wishing to use the software. At present there are three programs being run as detailed below. Should you be interested in attending any of these in the future then please contact us by email at feedback "at" redskyagri.com to register an interest. This will allow us to plan further seminars on these or other topics in the future.
RED SKY SEMINAR - ANALYSING AND INTERPRETING INDICATORS OF FARM BUSINESS PERFORMANCE
No previous experience with Red Sky Farm Performance Analysis is required to attend this 3-hour seminar – just an interest in analysing the financial performance of farms. The seminar provides participants with an opportunity to share ideas, ask questions and engage in general discussion. The goal is for participants to leave the seminar with an understanding of how they might deliver an improved level of advice to their farming clients.
The four session topics are:
RED SKY BASE TRAINING COURSE
The Red Sky Base Training Course is completed in an afternoon and provides attendees with the skills to use all facets of the software. The intent is to ensure that on completion of the course the attendees can install Red Sky Farm Performance Analysis, enter all relevant data in the program, synchronise the data over the internet, and print out the reports. This training will include how to obtain benchmark data as well as how to make comparisons between individual farms and this benchmark data.
The training course is undertaken by using real farm data so attendees will complete ‘hands on’ operation of Red Sky. This will involve all attendees completing a worked example. These skills should then be able to be applied to completing Red Sky on a commercial basis.
The course is broken down into sessions including:
RED SKY MANAGEMENT PLANNING TRAINING COURSE
The Red Sky Management Planning Training Course is a stage two course for those who have started to use Red Sky and would like to learn more about how to build new plans for farm businesses. This is a half day course which provides attendees the skills to analyse the impact of changes to livestock numbers or livestock production, changes to supplement and cropping regimes, and movements between different enterprises.
In addition attendees can further develop the skills taught in the Base Training Course in areas such as sensitivity analysis or cash flow production.
